Dear patient,<\/p>

In our practice in Bonn, we offer all\u00a0treatment procedures<\/a>\u00a0for general and specialised\u00a0conservative\u2014meaning non-operative\u2014orthopaedics.<\/strong><\/p>

Furthermore, my colleague and I have undergone training to gain additional qualifications in manual therapy,\u00a0chiropractic and<\/a>chirotherapy<\/strong><\/a>. We focus in particular on our\u00a0sports orthopaedic practice<\/strong>, where we address sports medicine from the orthopaedic point of view, both in terms of\u00a0sports injuries<\/a>\u00a0and complications related to sports. We are always open for consultations! All\u00a0treatments are offered to both young and old<\/a>. We offer treatment in particular to athletes\u2014recreational athletes and competitive athletes of all age groups<\/strong>\u2014and take care of these groups with just as much care as we do our\u00a0professional and competitive athletes,<\/strong>\u00a0as well as the athletes from the\u00a0Olympic bases<\/strong>\u00a0in Rhineland and Rhineland Palatinate.<\/p>

A particular focus area of mine is the\u00a0post-treatment of accidents<\/strong>\u00a0as well as the post-treatment and outpatient rehabilitation of orthopaedic surgical procedures.<\/p>

Once a week, in the afternoon after school, I offer a\u00a0special paediatric sports orthopaedic consultation session<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0to discuss and treat any problems that children and adolescents have with sports-related musculoskeletal pain.\u00a0<\/p>

A major area of the treatment we offer is the treatment of\u00a0osteoarthritis of all joints<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0of the human musculoskeletal system, including\u00a0the latest cartilage protection injection therapies with\u00a0<\/strong>hyaluronic acid<\/strong><\/a>, whereby we can even inject\u00a0small joints<\/strong>, in particular the thumb saddle joint and the big toe joint, with the aid of\u00a0radiation-free digitised ultrasound navigation<\/strong>\u00a0and colour Doppler optimisation.\u00a0<\/p>

As part of our\u00a0spinal therapy<\/strong>, including\u00a0intervention through minimally invasive injection procedures<\/strong>\u00a0and the\u00a0treatment of herniated discs<\/strong>, we make every effort to avoid disc surgery.<\/p>

I have qualified in Osteology at the DVO and we are therefore also able to provide\u00a0osteoporosis treatments<\/strong>, for both men and women.\u00a0<\/p>

As part of our alternative complementary medical treatments, we perform\u00a0acupuncture therapies<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0for the treatment of orthopaedic conditions, as well as other conditions such as\u00a0tinnitus and headaches<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>

We are approved by all health insurance funds in the acupuncture model projects for the treatment of the spine and of knee-joint complaints. As part of our\u00a0shock wave therapy<\/strong><\/a>, we treat painful\u00a0calcified shoulders<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0as well as shoulder stiffness in accordance with the stage reached,\u00a0heel spurs<\/strong><\/a>, bursitis on the hip as well as\u00a0tennis elbow<\/strong>\u00a0and<\/a>golfer\u2019s elbow<\/strong>,<\/a>\u00a0muscular tension in the musculoskeletal system, tendonitis and other musculoskeletal sports medical conditions and injuries.\u00a0<\/p>

We have our own\u00a0physical-medical therapy unit<\/strong>\u00a0with extension couch and heat application, electrotherapy and magnetic field therapy, which are used in cases of joint wear (arthritis) and pain. The practice has\u00a0digitised X-ray facilities<\/strong>\u00a0with a CD-ROM archive, which not only optimises the archiving of images but is also beneficial to the speed of treatment of our patients.\u00a0<\/p>

For\u00a0private patients<\/strong>, we can offer\u00a0MRI scanning facilities<\/strong><\/a>, which are also in Bad Godesberg and where we can schedule a corresponding MRI of all joints as well as the spine at very short notice. We also have two\u00a0cutting-edge sonography devices with colour Doppler equipment<\/strong>\u00a0to assess inflammation, wear and mucosal inflammation of the musculoskeletal system. Sonography is also used to diagnose muscle and tendon injuries. The practice has a corresponding dynamic pedography and digital foot pressure measuring plate, which is used to provide insoles, in particular for the provision of special individually-tailored sports insoles.\u00a0<\/p>

On the basis of our focus on sports medicine and our degree studies at the\u00a0German Sport University Cologne<\/strong>, we can also offer\u00a0advice on technique<\/strong>, technique analysis and training management within the context of our consultation sessions \u2013 for ambitious amateur athletes, as well as for performance and professional athletes.<\/p>

The practice also has links to\u00a0equipment-based training therapy with<\/strong>MedX training unit<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0for the treatment of herniated discs, articular arthrosis of the small vertebral joints, spinal column loosening and instabilities by strengthening the spine.<\/p>

In special cases, we are able to carry out\u00a0special orthopaedic osteological laboratory tests<\/strong>, and we are also a model practice for the treatment of clinical pictures with\u00a0neurostimulation<\/a>\u00a0according to Professor Molsberger (NSM).<\/p>
